27 days till TrueBlood

We are down to 27 days for the premiere of TrueBlood on June 13th. Less than a month but still a while to go. So while you are waiting why you don’t check out some of the websites that I featured so far.

What I like about the TrueBloodDotNet site is they not only post article about TrueBlood they also post interviews with the actors and actresses of TrueBlood. They also post recaps and spoilers about future episodes as well as have contest about the show. The one thing that is my favorite the people who run the site are fans just like us who love to watch the show. So I would really recommend you checking out the website.

29 days till TrueBlood

Doing this countdown reminds me alot like waiting for new movie or book. Your so close for the move to come out or even the book to come out but yet it seams so far away. We still have 29 more days to go but we are almost there.

Today I am featuring a myspace page all about my favorite viking vampire Eric Northman. I am sure I am not the only who love this character and I fell more in love with this character after watching the show.

One of the thing that I love about being her friend on myspace is that she post random comments of Eric Northman with captions that she makes herself. Find a new comment message on myspace home-page and seeing that a picture and a funny comment written as Eric Northman has brighten up my day. If you click on her check out my blogs on her myspace she write everything from fan fics to reviews about each episode of season 2. I would highly recommend you add her as a friend on myspace. So intill tomorrow waiting sucks and where almost there.

30 Days of TrueBlood

30 more days intill the permere of trueblood. Honestly I can’t wait intill June the 13th. Good thing I have the new Sookie Stackhouse novel to keep me company I am still reading it. Today’s website that I am featuring is the HBO offical TrueBlood site.

On the site they not only offer synopsis of what happened during Season 1 and Season 2. They have been posting minisodes for previews of what’s going to happen in season 3. You should really check out the Jessica minisode it offers a whole new side to her personality. Till tomorrow, waiting sucks.

31 Days of True Blood

Today is May the 13th so that is a month one of mine and a lot of people favorite show is going to be starting again on June 13th. This show is True Blood based on Sookie Stackhouse novels written by Charlaine Harris. Starting today on this blog every day for the next 31 day I will be post a new website that focus on True Blood.

Since there would be no True blood with out the Sookie Stackhouse books. Today featured website is Charlaine Harris’s offical website. On her website you not only find the Sookie Stackhouse books listed but her other book listed as well. This will come in handy if you like to read all the works of the author that you like.

So how did I get into the Sookie Stackhouse series. I got into it kind of late you what happened is I picked up the Twilight series first. I love to read all kinds of books but I had never heard of the Twilight series or even the Sookie Stackhouse series. I was shopping at Target when I found that Twilight series after reading the first three books I found myself interested in the whole vampire genre. The next time I went to target I picked the first Sookie Stackhouse book. I loved it and could wait to read the rest so I went to bookstore and picked up all the ones that had been written. I read them all in one weekend and I was hooked. When I heard about the show I just knew I had to watch. An now from day one of Trueblood I can say I am addicted and the wait has been to long.

So if you have never heard of TrueBlood or Sookie Stackhouse I strongly suggest you check out the show and the book. An to all my fellow truebies out there here is to a month away from our favorite show starting.

Forensic Psychology and Online Classes

So when I graduated from college last year with my Bachelors. The goal was to go to law school. I had planning on going to law school pearty much since I was 7. Yes it is a little weird to think of a 7 year wanting to go to law school. Yet I always had intrest in law and poltics. When I started college I decided to major in Government with a minor in criminal justice. While studying the laws and the many crimes that have been committed over the years. I relised that I didn’t just want to know about the law but why peope did what they did.

So last summer while I was still on path on trying to firgure out if I should go straight to lawschool or get my masters first. I found the Forensic Psychology program at Argosy University. What I liked about Argosy is they have an online programs to get your masters. Taking classes comes in handy especially since I work as a substitute teacher during the week.

When i first applied to the forensic psychology program i was told that my gpa wasn’t high enough but instead of just completely turning me away. they told me that if i took some classes in the psychology program and raise up my gpa i can reapply. So that is the path I am on now I have 9 more classes to take towards getting my second degree. Hopefully I will start my master’s program in April of 2011.

New Me New Goal

I started a new goal this year. That goal is to get healthy and loose 100 pounds. I have been diabetic for the last 8 years. Last December I weighed myself and I was weighing 260 pounds. Since this is the most I ever weighed I decided that I needed to loose the weight in order to get healthy. Since starting in January I have lost 10 pounds. I will use this blog to chronicle my weight loss journey as well other journeys in my life.
